Zara & Jordan’s El Oceano Beach Hotel wedding photos

On the 3rd September 2018, Zara and Jordan were married during a beautiful ceremony at El Oceano Beach Hotel, Costa Del Sol.

As a photographer, one of the biggest privileges is being asked to photograph a wedding abroad, so I was delighted to head to the Costa Del Sol for Zara and Jordan’s big day.

There’s just something so amazing about a destination wedding. The sun, no doubt, puts everyone in a good mood, and add a wedding into the mix for the perfect mood lifting recipe.

The happy couple chose the beautiful El Oceano Beach Hotel for their nuptials and what a winning choice it was. This little piece of paradise is located right on the water's edge with amazing panoramic views.

The setting was undeniably laid back, which added to the vibe of the day. When I met with both parties prior to the ceremony, they were in great spirits, excited about the day ahead.

Zara’s choice of dress proved an instant hit with guests, wowing them in a full length beaded 1950’s style dress, while her leading ladies stood elegantly by her side.

After the beautiful ceremony, we took the opportunity to get some group photos, before grabbing a moment with just Zara and Jordan. The venue afforded plenty of beautiful backdrops, so we didn’t have to stray too far for some stunning shots.

Guests were treated to a cocktail reception and an exquisite feast before they hit the dance floor.

Catherine & Mark’s Roe Park Resort wedding photos

Catherine and Mark were married on the 10th August 2018 during a beautiful church ceremony, before hosting their reception at Roe Park Resort, Limavady.

On the morning of the wedding, I arrived as the beauty preparations for the day got underway. I made great use of this time, capturing those all-important detail shots. With so much thought and attention going into planning a wedding, the smallest of details can mean so much to a couple, so these always make a welcome addition to wedding albums.

Although a little nervous, Catherine and her bridesmaids were in great form, looking forward to the day ahead. Catherine’s choice of dress proved a real head turner. With a fitted silhouette and exquisite cut out detailing, it definitely epitomised their romantic day, while her leading ladies wore full length blush dresses, the perfect colour choice for the season.

Following the ceremony, with weather on our side, we made our way to Downhill Beach for some group and couple photos, with the iconic Mussenden Temple in the background.

Next, we ventured to the Roe Park Resort, where an exquisitely decorated room waited. After the speeches had been delivered to huge applause, a delicious meal was enjoyed before the cake was cut. All that was left to do was join the happy couple on the dance floor, where the celebrations continued for the duration of the night.

Zena & Aidan’s Carton House wedding photography

Zena and Aidan were married on Saturday 21st July 2018, during a gorgeous ceremony at Lady Chapel, Maynooth, before hosting their reception at the stunning Carton House.

I remember Zena and Aidan’s day so well! I arrived just as the bridal preparations were underway (and the Champagne was being popped open). What I loved about this bridal party is that they were really excited about the day ahead. They had so much fun getting ready before the wedding, and we got the group together for some fun pre-ceremony shots.

Zena choose a gorgeous, modern style fitted lace dress with embellishments, which really captured the light. Her bridesmaids wore white dresses, each one different in its style for a contemporary feel. Beautiful white boutiques tired the look together for a flawlessly chic finish.

Following the beautiful ceremony, we made our way to Carton House. The venue affords such beautiful grounds, which served as a perfect backdrop for photos.

Next, we ventured to the beautifully decorated reception room, where the wedding celebrations continued for the evening. Guests were treated to an exquisite meal and entertaining speeches, before the cake was cut. After this, all that was left to do was dance the night away.

Shannon & Noel - Castle Leslie Wedding Photography

I love when a couple decide to do things their own way and Shannon & Noel did just that! The happy couple choose the stunning Smock Alley in Temple Bar, Dublin, for their ceremony, before hosing their reception at the picturesque Castle Leslie.

Shannon is from Canada and Noel is from Ireland, so they were being joined by many out of town guests for their wedding day, all of whom were keen to experience a true Irish wedding!

The cobbled streets of Temple Bar were the perfect place to catch up with the groomsmen, who enjoyed a calming pint prior to the ceremony. Bridal preparations also got off to a great start, with everyone excited about the day ahead.

After the ceremony, we made good use of the area’s many colourful backdrops as I captured some photos of the happy couple, before making our way to Castle Leslie.

Shannon and Noel’s two passions; cycling and ice-cream were definitely brought to life. The couple met while doing an Ironman in South Africa, and their first time alone together was on a practice cycle, which of course, led to them sourcing an old fashioned ice-cream bike! This was located outside the gates of Castle Leslie, proving a huge hit with guests, both young and old alike!

The couple were drawn to Castle Leslie for its glorious lake and boathouse, so we made good use of the grounds on the beautiful day, taking photos as we meandered around.

Guests enjoyed beautiful food, entertaining speeches and the cutting of the cake, so all that was left to do was join the newlyweds on the dance floor.

Robyn & John’s Castle Leslie Wedding Photography

Robyn and John were married on the 13th July 2018 during a beautiful ceremony at St Patrick's Church, Jordanstown, before heading to Castle Leslie for their reception.

It’s undeniable that Castle Leslie is a stunning venue for a wedding, so I was really excited about Robyn and John’s big day.

I began the day by visiting Robyn and her bridesmaids for some pre-ceremony photos. Robyn chose a fit-and-flare ballgown with full skirt, which proved an instant hit with guests. Her bridesmaids wore flowly blush pink dresses - a perfect colour choice for the season, while bouquets of beautiful pink and white peonies effortlessly tired everything together.

After the ceremony, we made our way to Castle Leslie. With the venue boasting such exquisite grounds, there was no need to stop anywhere else for photos. With the summer months offering great weather, the gardens were in full bloom, meaning an abundance of colour served as the perfect backdrop for photos. We meandered around the grounds, stopping at the lake and boat house for more photos, before making our way to the marquee for the reception.

When we arrived, the room was flawlessly set up. Robyn and John had really gone the extra mile for guests, and I loved the finishing touches, such as blankets, which showed they’d really thought of everything.

The speeches and cutting of the cake followed the meal, before Robyn and John took to the dance floor for their first dance, after which they were joined by guests for the rest of the night.
