Rachel & David - Lyric Theatre Wedding Photography

I love photographing weddings at venues that sway from the norm, so I was thrilled to learn about Rachel and David’s choice! The happy couple were married during a gorgeous ceremony at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre, before hosting their reception at one of the city’s most renowned restaurants, Deanes at Queens.

One of the things that struck me the most about this wedding, was the attention to detail. Amazing finishing touches included caricatures of the happy couple, cool table names, an abundance of beautiful flowers and a cake with exquisite attention to detail.

Following the beautiful ceremony, we took advantage of the theatre’s many cool spots for photos, before making a pitstop at Botanic Gardens. With the weather (thankfully) on our side, we meandered our way around the grounds, capturing shots of the happy couple, with the photos serving as a focal point in their wedding album.

Next, we headed to Deanes at Queens where a beautifully presented room awaited. After guests enjoyed a delicious meal and entertaining speeches, the cake was cut, before the newlyweds hit the dance floor to the sounds of The Moonshines.

Congratulations Rachel and David. Thank-you for inviting me to capture such a beautiful day.

Ciara & Matthew - Castle Leslie wedding Photography

Ciara and Matthew were married on 16th July 2016 during a gorgeous ceremony at Monaghan Cathedral, before hosting their reception at the always stunning, Castle Leslie.

I was delighted when Ciara and Matthew booked me for their Castle Leslie wedding photography! One of my favourite venues, I knew they were set for an amazing day.

When I arrived at Castle Leslie during the bridal preparations, I was amazed at the sense of calmness. The bridesmaids had opened the Moet and as hair and make-up set to work, so did I, capturing those detail shots, which are a welcome addition to a wedding album.

It was evident straight away that so much thought and attention had gone into this wedding, down to the very straws, which flawlessly coordinated with the bridesmaids' dresses.

Ciara choose a fit-and-flare lace gown with sweetheart neckline, complemented perfectly by her dream Jimmy Choo shoes, while her leading ladies stood elegantly by her side in on-trend mauve coloured floor length dresses.

Following a beautiful ceremony, we headed to Castle Leslie for photos, taking advantage of the gorgeous venue's many backdrops, including the lake, for a real wow moment.

After the speeches and meal, the beautiful five-tiered cake masterpiece - which was baked by a family friend - was cut, meaning that all that was left to do was dance the night away to the brilliant sounds of The Edition.

Here's a look at their Castle Leslie wedding photography.

Tanya & Rob - Tullyveery House Wedding Photography

Tanya and Rob were married on the 15th September in 2016 at Tullyveery House, where they also hosted their reception.

The Georgian Tullyveery House is the perfect place to host a wedding, so I was delighted to be asked to photograph Tanya & Rob's special day.

I arrived with the guys firstly, who were chilled out at the Culloden, over freshly poured Guinness, before making my way to join the girls, as bridal party preparations were well underway.

Tanya's dress of choice was an A-line satin gown with lace bodice, while her bridesmaids wore blush pink floor length gowns, which perfectly completed the venue and style of the day.

With the couple opting for an outdoor ceremony, I was on weather-watch all week, and luckily we were graced with a mild September day. Guests thoroughly enjoyed all the amazing details that Tanya & Rob had lovingly prepared, which added to the day, for sure.

The grounds boast beautiful manicured laws, so following the ceremony, we made use of the stunning backdrop for photos. We also meandered a little further and found an idyllic country lane for some more romantic shots at sunset.

What an amazing day from start to finish.

Sarah & Andrew - Lough Erne Resort Wedding Photography

Sarah and Andrew were married on the 17th September 2016 during a gorgeous ceremony at St Mary's Chapel, Omagh, before hosting their reception at the picturesque Lough Erne Resort in Enniskillen.

There's no denying that there's something special about a Lough Erne Resort wedding, so I was definitely excited about photographing Sarah and Andrew's big day there.

I arrived with the guys firstly, who had headed to the local pub for a pint of Guinness to ease any nerves. Over at the girls' house, the Champagne was popped open as bridal preparations got underway, leaving me to capture those all important detail shots, of which there were plenty.

Sarah's choice of an A-line flowing gown with lace bodice, was complemented by metallic Jimmy Choos and a floral crown, to offer a whimsical vibe, while her bridesmaid wore a fitted dress in a light blush pink, to effortlessly tie everything together. The flowers by Sarah's aunt, Michele from Dobbins, Omagh were spectacular for sure, and a talking point amongst guests.

Following the beautiful ceremony, we made our way to Lough Erne Resort, using the area's many spectacular locations for their wedding photography. Admittedly, I have a soft spot for photos by the lake!

After the speeches had been delivered, meal had been eaten and cake had been cut, we nipped outside for a few more photos, just as the sun was beginning to set, adding an extra layer of romance.

Afterwards, guests hit the dance floor to the sounds of The Rockits.
